Aksharabhyasa (Vidyarambham) is the sacred initiation into formal education and writing for young toddlers (usually around age 3 to 5). Conducted by Shri Pradeep Nadig, the ritual involves Saraswati Pooja, Hayagriva Pooja, Medha Sukta parayana, and guiding the child's finger to write 'Om Namah Shivaya' or 'Hari Sri Ganapataye Namah' in raw rice and sand.
